The history, science and traditions of coffee
We love coffee. We're actually a little obsessive, and we're constantly talking and writing about coffee, particularly Turkish, Arabic, Lebanese and Greek coffee.
In our blog, you can learn about the history of the world's best bean, the science of coffee, what Turkish coffee is and the difference from other types of coffee, making Turkish coffee, the traditions of the drink we adore, and more.
Joseph Atallah, the founder and inventor of Zou Zou Coffee, grew up in a small village in northern Lebanon, often at his grandmother's side or spending time with his family, surrounded by the smells and traditions of Turkish coffee. Always curious and a food-lover, he completed a Bachelor of Science majoring in Organic Chemistry and a Graduate Diploma in Food Science. He really, really enjoys everything coffee!
